Preparing an equipment listing for review

Upstream Integrated · 2026-09-19

A clear equipment listing helps buyers decide whether to send an enquiry. Prepare the details before submitting your listing to Upstream for review. Start with identification Choose the appropriate equipment section and category. Use a title that identifies the item and include its manufacturer, model and year when known. Add a serial number or other identifier only when it is appropriate to make it public. State the condition accurately and separate confirmed facts from information that still needs checking. Make specifications useful Enter the technical fields offered for the selected category and keep units explicit. Where information is unavailable, explain the gap in the description instead of guessing. Describe what is included in the offer and identify any components that are excluded. Prepare media and documents Use photographs and supporting files that you own or are authorized to publish. Show the whole item and useful details, including visible wear. Remove confidential information from documents before uploading them. Check the order of the images and confirm that the files belong to the item being advertised. Check commercial and contact details Select the transaction type and currency carefully. Review the location and the contact details that buyers will see. Use the available visibility controls to decide which contact channels are shown. An enquiry is a request to discuss the item; it does not itself confirm stock, payment or a completed sale. Submit and follow the review Save a draft while preparing the listing. When ready, submit it for Upstream review and check the status in your inventory. If a correction is requested, use the feedback to revise the listing and submit it again. Approval on the marketplace does not replace a buyer's own equipment inspection or verification of the seller's offer.
